Loves Liza Minnelli, Dudley Moore, The Beatles, The Who, The Monkees, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, etc. Definitely born in the wrong era.

29 year old girl from the east bay area in California (read as: nowhere on the map) and also loves all things craft-wise. Is an avid cross-stitcher, knitter, crocheter, photographer, writer, loves drawing, and generally anything that involves making something pretty.

Also loves nostalgia. Both from the 60's/70's, from her own childhood in the 80's/90's, and some even older stuff. You've been warned.

First sketch I’ve done in literally about a year, I’m disgustingly out of practice and really *not* satisfied with how this came out. I wasn’t done yet either when I was forced to stop mid-way through (thus why the neck looks weird; I was still trying to work on lightening it) and then this morning when I looked at it again I didn’t want to mess with it and risk wrecking the whole thing, which is what usually happens when I stop midway through a sketch and try to pick it up on a different day and I’ve lost inertia. Oh well. But being the first one in that long, and for only spending about 20 minutes working on it, it’s not as horrible as I was expecting it to come out, so….I guess that’s something? Only one way to get back into practice anyway!

"Many people think my family’s life was a tragedy, they completely miss the point, mama never saw herself as tragic. She never lost her optimism. That level of joy and carrying on, no matter what the obstacles, what she made every audience feel and believe, it’s why people love her. If I learned anything from her along the way is that everyone’s show must go on and it’s up to us to make it a good one."- Lorna Luft- Life with Judy Garland: Me and my Shaddows

Just found out about the limited edition Liza Minnelli comic books……….never so fast have I had a “SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!” moment and bought one of each. :p
