Hey, lookie what I scored today! ^_^ Another book for my film novelization collection! :D Seriously, I can’t even begin to tell you how stoked I am about this one. On average, I generally see this book for for about $45, low end, and usually in terrible quality. I can only assume the seller had NO idea what they had when they were selling it, because this one is near mint condition (only flaw is a tiny crease on the cover — the binding is still so tight that it feels like it’s never been so much as opened!) and you know what I got it for? THREE BUCKS. You read that right. WIN. WIN. WIN. So now, unless there happens to be more of them that I’m unaware of existing, I think I’ve got every Liza film novelization there is :D Time to start filling in the gaps in collecting the film scripts now! ;) (I’ve only got them for Arthur and Arthur 2 so far where Liza’s concerned, so…)

I’m so tempted to sneak this song onto my uncle’s ipod during his next pool party and just watch whatever happens, you have no idea. XD He has so much random shit on there, I’m not even sure he’d notice, LMAO. Dead serious, I snuck like the Monkees’ first five albums on there and he never said a word, even when all the songs started randomly coming up in shuffle over the speakers and he had no Monkees stuff on there before that, LOL. ATTENTION LIZA FANS:

A little assistance needed, please! I received an email from a very high-ranking member of our fandom (I don’t want to name names; I got in trouble the last time I namedropped :p) saying that he was referred by another outstanding member of the fandom to me in search of a specific Liza photo… Apparently it was from Liza’s 14th birthday, and had Judy, Lorna, and Joey all in the shot as well. I don’t have any further details about this photo other than apparently the official Liza page had posted it to his profile, then deleted it, so I don’t know if it’s a lost cause from being of her personal collection or if it might be actually floating around out there. If anybody happens to have a photo that fits this description, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE contact me! It’s very rare that someone comes to me seeking a specific Liza photo that I *don’t* have, and I really don’t want to let him down if at all possible. I searched my Liza pic folders, I hunted around on Google, and as of yet, I’ve turned up *nothing*. (This is pretty rare for me :-\) But I figured if there was a shot at *anyone* potentially having the picture, it’d be one of my fellow Tumblr-ites. On your toes, team!  Shall we try and track it down together?

Liza afghan update: Day 9123 out of 220 rows completed After numerous setbacks that delayed my working on this for quite a while (a lengthy illness, a deep depression spell, a dog throwing up on this and my having to figure out how to wash it without it being finished….), I *finally* got a chance to work on it again today. It may not look like much progress since the last pic…unless, y’know, you look at the last one again for comparison. (The tops of the eyes, eyebrows, and tips of the bangs are new to this update.) Regardless, progress is being made, and the wheels are back in motion, even if slowly. :)
