Loves Liza Minnelli, Dudley Moore, The Beatles, The Who, The Monkees, Judy Garland, Frank Sinatra, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Dean Martin, etc. Definitely born in the wrong era.
28 year old girl from the east bay area in California (read as: nowhere on the map) and also loves all things craft-wise. Is an avid cross-stitcher, knitter, crocheter, photographer, writer, loves drawing, and generally anything that involves making something pretty.
Also loves nostalgia. Both from the 60's/70's, from her own childhood in the 80's/90's, and some even older stuff. You've been warned.

4. Judy Garland as Cricket West. (Thoroughbreds Don’t Cry, 1937)
I’d been in vaudeville for several years with my family, but never had I been asked to read a line. I was frightened to death until Mickey, the veteran, put his arm around me and said, “Honey, you’ve got to believe in what you’re saying and doing — that’s the whole secret of acting. And when you sing, make like you mean it and live the part.”

Judy’s Got A Pair of New Shoes
Remember that time Mickey Rooney kept pulling a boy’s pants down in a movie? (Ignore me, I’m having issues today lol)

I was just playing around with funky angles on my ipod’s camera (hey, it’s still a new toy to me, okay?) and thought this one was sorta cool of part of the wall over my bed.
Hey, if Kimmy’s Mickey and I’m Judy….then this is a living illustration of Kimmy annoying the crap out of me! ;)

Judy Garland and Mickey Rooney.
So I’m definitely laughing hysterically over the fact that I’ve recently come to the realization that not only am I Judy Garland’s exact height…..but Kimmy is Mickey Rooney’s height. (Judy must have heels on here.) Therefore….Kimmy *is* Mickey Rooney. X-D (No no, this has been a running joke for a few weeks ever since I found this info out. Needless to say, she’s not impressed. Every time she sees a picture of Mickey and Judy, she gets all pouty and is like “aw MAN, I’m THAT guy?” LMAO)
